youbloom planted its seed in 2009 as an international development programme aimed at promoting and nurturing unsigned artists. That seed blossomed into youbloom@Dublin, an annual music showcase happening for the first time this June. 50 International artists will travel to Dublin from 14 countries to play alongside 50 homegrown talents for a weekend of live music as well as a music conference. The showcase will be taking over six of Dublin’s most popular venues including Mercantile, Workman’s Club, Grand Social, Stag's Head and Twisted Pepper. Each venue will host an evening with a distinct musical slant; rock, indie, metal, hip-hop, soul, jazz, reggae, electro etc., so you can chill in one spot or move around and sample the best and brightest, ‘Brave New Music’ from home and abroad.
